SCENE 01: Forest, misty

Variables:

You running in the forest, knowing you are being chased by something. You trip over a root and come face to face with the fabled King of the local court. You are captured.

Choices:

A) Struggle against your captors (No change)

B) Threaten your captors (+Distrust)

C) Act cute and unassuming (-Distrust, +Romance)

(All choices must end with the King snapping his fingers to teleport them, move to SCENE 02)


SCENE 02: Fae Castle, Grand Hall

Variables:

The King has just teleported everyone out of the forest into the Grand Hall. You're is still on the ground when the King announces you are to be queen. You hear a little about the Mother Tree. The King tell you to stand.

KING: “Here before you is the one that made the Mother Tree bloom. Here before you is your queen to be.”

The room erupts. The Rival made her presence known by fussing loudly.

KING: “A queen should not be so comfortable with the floor. Rise.”

Choices:

A) Kneel and ask for freedom (no change)

B) Show disdain and refusal (-Romance, +Distrust)

C) Show interest and try flirting (+Romance)

(In each choice, the Rival must interject in some way. The King will approach you in the next scene, so make sure there's space for him to walk up to you at the end of each choice. Move to SCENE 03)
